JOTECA 2026 is ISTEC Porto's 2nd Advanced Technology Conference. With the central theme “Agents for Transformation,” it will explore the crucial role of intelligent systems and autonomous entities in redefining industries, societies, and technological paradigms. It will address perspectives from Software Engineering Agents, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Multimedia, as well as Human Agents at the center of this Transformation, highlighting their impact as catalysts for change and progress. The event will bring together researchers and professionals to share advances and visions about the future driven by these transformative agents.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing original and complete research, in-depth case studies, significant theoretical and practical developments, or systematic reviews within the scope of "Agents of Transformation". These works should present robust results, clear methodologies, and a thorough discussion of the implications and contributions to the field.
- Posters describing work in progress, preliminary results, innovative project proposals, or demonstrations of practical applications of software agents and AI. Posters should focus on the visual presentation of ideas and the promotion of interactive discussions with the community.
