The Workshop on Big Optimization (WBO 2025) aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the challenges and advancements across disciplines such as computer science, operations research, artificial intelligence, and applied mathematics. WBO 2025 offers a hybrid format for both in-person and online participation.The topics of interest for the event include, but are not limited to, Algorithmic Foundations, Artificial Intelligence in Optimization, Applications of Optimization and Big Data, and Emerging Trends.

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS
- Regular Papers (maximum 15 pages): novel and original research contributions.
- Short Papers (extended abstract of up to 10 pages): novel research works in progress or with preliminary results.
- Oral Presentations: high-quality published or preliminary recent works. These contributions are considered for presentation only and are not included in the proceedings.
Accepted regular and short papers will be published as post-proceedings in the Studies in Big Data (SBD) series by Springer
