ISAT'2025: International Workshop on Information Sciences and Advanced Technlogies: Edge Big Data -AI-IoT Istanbul, Türkiye Istanbul, Turkey, April 14-16, 2026 |
Conference website | https://www.fsb.univh2c.ma/ISAT2025/ |
Abstract registration deadline | November 12, 2025 |
Submission deadline | November 12, 2025 |
The aim of this special track of ISAT’2025 is to explore the convergence of advanced technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to promote new advances and research directions in diverse domains, with a particular focus on smart farming and smart agriculture. This workshop will also serve as a valuable opportunity to build networks among researchers, professors, experts in computer science, and professionals from agriculture and related industries.
With the continuous growth of the global population, the demand for food and raw materials is reaching unprecedented levels. According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the world’s population is expected to reach 8 billion by 2025 and 9.6 billion by 2050. This implies that global food production must increase by nearly 70% by 2050. Addressing this challenge requires the modernization and intensification of agricultural practices, while simultaneously ensuring efficient use of resources such as water, soil, and energy.
Smart farming—integrating digital technologies with agricultural systems—provides innovative solutions to these challenges. Plant-derived products play a vital role not only in our daily lives but also in industrial processes, creating a need for sustainable, high-yield production systems. Meeting these demands requires transversal approaches, spanning from the molecular scale to field applications, supported by advanced data-driven technologies.
This workshop provides a forum for disseminating research, development, and applications in Smart Farming and beyond. It seeks to accelerate the adoption of data technologies to tackle global challenges in agriculture and other domains.
We invite original research contributions on any aspect of information sciences and advanced technologies, with a focus on (but not limited to) the following tracks:
-
Big Data analytics and applications
-
Artificial Intelligence for decision-making and automation
-
Edge computing for real-time monitoring and control
-
IoT architectures and applications in agriculture and other domains
-
Data-driven methods for resource-efficient farming
-
Sustainable agriculture and precision farming solutions
-
Cross-domain applications of Edge–AI–IoT–Big Data integration
