The FAIEMA conference series invites researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to submit original and unpublished research contributions that explore artificial intelligence from technical, ethical, societal, and multidisciplinary perspectives.
FAIEMA serves as a cross-disciplinary forum where advances in AI theory and methods intersect with real-world applications, governance challenges, ethical considerations, and domain-specific insights. The conference promotes dialogue among computer scientists, engineers, physicists, social scientists, legal scholars, healthcare professionals, industry experts, and policymakers.
Host City - L’Aquila, Italy
L’Aquila, located in Central Italy about 100 km east of Rome, is a historic yet forward-looking city set among national parks and mountain landscapes. Known for its rich cultural heritage and strong academic and research ecosystem, it is home to major universities and international research institutes. In 2026, L’Aquila will also hold the title of Italian Capital of Culture, with its year-long cultural program coinciding with the FAIEMA 2026 conference dates, highlighting the city’s resilience, cultural vitality, and role as a hub for innovation and interdisciplinary exchange.
Submission Guidelines
Papers submitted to the conference proceedings must follow the Springer Lecture Notes on Computer Science template (LNCS format). You may read about the formatting guidelines here.

- Minimum 5,000 words (excluding abstract and references)
- Maximum 17 pages (including abstract and references)
- Up to 3 additional pages may be purchased
- Review Process: Double-blind peer review
- Poster Track

- 3 to 6 pages including references, tables, and figures.
- Review Process: Single-blind review
- Author names must be included in the extended abstract
Templates for Proceedings Papers: For double-blind review, author names must be removed from submissions to the Research and PhD Symposium Tracks. Submissions to the PhD Symposium and Student Forum must include author names.
Review Process: All submissions will be evaluated through a peer-review process based on originality, technical quality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to the field. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference.
Industry Participation: Industry experts are also invited to propose exhibits, tutorials, or invited talks as part of the conference program. Interested contributors are encouraged to contact the organizers via the Contact Us form on the conference website.
