IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

• It is ESSENTIAL that you read all of the instructions below before you submit.
• The Presenting Author must submit the abstract and is required to be the corresponding author for that abstract.
• Abstracts must be submitted in English.

You do not need to register for the Conference prior to submitting an abstract however following acceptance into the programme you must register as soon as possible. You will be provided with a link to register in your acceptance email. 

VISA and Invitation letter

If you need a letter of acceptance to support your VISA application, please contact us as soon as possible as we can review your abstract in advance and provide you with an invitation letter.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Oral presentation (10 to 15 minutes)
• Posters
• Performance 

At the review stage, the Scientific Committee may recommend a change in the presentation type submitted by the author, based on the quality of the submission and to ensure the continuity of the conference programme i.e. oral presentation may be changed to poster presentation OR poster presentation to oral presentation. The presenting author will be informed of any change to their submitted presentation type at the acceptance notification stage and can accept/reject. The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.

When submitting your abstract, please keep the following criteria in mind:

• Title of the abstract (please keep it short and concise). Titles must be in title case: this means only using capital letters for the principal words. e.g The Title Must Have a Capital Letter at the Start of Every Principle Word). 
• Indicate your presentation type (oral, poster, workshop/symposia)
• Please choose the theme (listed below) that best aligns with your work. If your theme is not mentioned, please specify it in the abstract and add a keyword.
• Include the name, affiliation, and job title of the Presenting Author (this person will act as the main contact for this abstract) 
• Include the name, affiliation, and job title of co-author(s)
• Abstract word limit is up to 300 (no references needed), excluding Title, Authors and Affiliations. Graphs or tables are NOT to be included in the abstract.
• Please specify the corresponding author with whom the conference committee will liaise.

Information under the following sub-headings is required for all Abstract submissions, with the exception of theoretical/discussion papers:

Abstract type A: research papers 

• Aim & Objectives
• Methods
• Findings/Outcomes
• Discussion/Conclusion
• Implication(s) for Practice

Abstract type B: theoretical/discussion/opinion papers

• Introduction
• The reason for raising the issue proposed 
• Discussion and supportive arguments 
• Conclusions and take-home messages 

Abstracts will be published in the Conference Programme exactly as submitted and no corrections will be made. Please pay particular attention to grammar, spelling and typography.

Format of the conference

The conference will be delivered in person only. 

Oral Format

Oral presentations will be between 10 to 15 minutes for the presentation, including questions from the audience. 

Poster Format

Presenters are asked to take note of the following guidelines when producing their poster:

• Maximum poster size is A0 (0.84 x 1.19m) (portrait orientation).
• Keep text to a minimum.
• Ensure any text is in large font (minimum 16 font).
• Use graphs, charts, and/or tables.
• Ensure contents have a logical flow.

Posters will be displayed in an open area where conference attendees will have the opportunity to interact with presenters.

• The intersection of nursing and technology: nursing practices, nursing research, nursing education.

• Revisiting core tenets of transcultural nursing and identifying how they apply to modern healthcare systems.  
• Present creative ideas for the advancement of cultural competence. 
• Leveraging innovations like AI assistants, remote health monitoring, and other intelligent devices to promote culturally aware care and equity.  
• The future of transcultural nursing in a technology-enabled landscape.
