The Congress on International Multidisciplinary Exploration of Challenges (CIMEC’26) is an annual international academic congress that brings together researchers, scholars, and professionals from around the world to discuss major global challenges through a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach.
The 2026 edition will be held in Dakhla, Morocco, April 1–3, 2026, under the central theme:
“Rethinking Water through Science, Economics, Law, and Society.”

This year, CIMEC’26 has the honor of hosting the 16th International Quality Conference (IQC’16), a prestigious series originally founded and organized by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. Over the past 15 editions, IQC has built an international reputation as a leading forum in the field of quality management, standards, and industrial innovation.
By bringing together CIMEC and IQC, the 2026 edition will provide a unique opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue between experts in quality sciences, engineering, social sciences, economics, and environmental studies—maximizing academic impact and global collaboration.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. The following paper categories are welcome:

Full papers describing completed research results, case studies, or innovative applications (6–10 pages).

Short papers / Posters presenting preliminary results, ongoing projects, or innovative ideas (2–4 pages).
